Dieting and exercising can be confusing. There’s so much information out there that even the most discriminating consumer can’t wade through it all and make sense of it. Anybody can put up a website, add photos of ripped abs and bulging biceps, and suddenly be an expert. How do you separate the diamonds from the coal?

Simple. You find an expert.

If you have legal problems, you find a lawyer. If you have medical problems, you go to a doctor. Problems with money? See an accountant. Fitness is no different. If you want to bring some order to the chaos, and to give yourself peace of mind, you hire someone with the training, experience, and specialized knowledge you need.

I started out as a skinny, underweight kid years ago, and since then I’ve educated myself through books, research, and countless hours of trial-and-error in the gym. I’ve developed sound systems and strategies that can help clients achieve their goals, and I want to offer you the opportunity to share that knowledge
base.

I’m not going to sit here and name off qualifications or education. If you want to know what I think, you can see my philosophy and my methods in the articles on this site, or in Maximum Muscle. My methods are no secret: I focus on simple, basic, proven strategies.

What I’m Offering You

To put it simply, I’m giving you access to my knowledge and experience in the form of consultation and coaching services. I’ll guide you through the process of losing fat, or adding muscle, or getting stronger, with as much help as you need. I’ll give you the tools and the resources you need to reach your chosen goals. And I have packages for everyone, regardless of your needs.

I put this site up years ago specifically to rail against the people in this industry that I felt were being dishonest and pointing people in the wrong direction. I’ve made my articles and even my e-book free for the taking, with the hope of educating those that wanted to learn, and helping my readers avoid all the mistakes I had to make. But I’ve also realized that only being negative – only criticizing and not giving anything back – I was only contributing to the problem.

I’m usually a humble person, but the simple matter is that I’m just that much better than the alternatives. You can go to my competitors and get a watered-down copy of my methods and advice, or you can come right to the source and get the real thing.

My strategy is all about honest, hard work in the gym. You don’t need magic supplements, you don’t need complicated, difficult diets, and you don’t need access to a lot of fancy machines. I can help you improve yourself, whether you have specific goals for a sport, want to see your abs, or just want to improve your overall fitness and quality of life.

I don’t believe in just handing out pre-made, cookie-cutter workout programs. I customize everything to your specific needs and goals. Instead of holding your hand, I guide you along, informing and educating you. I don’t just want you to do my program; I want you to learn why you’re doing the things I tell you to do.

I’ve coached female bodybuilders and figure competitors into stage condition, and I’ve helped my wife bench press over 90kg (198 lbs) and deadlift 185kg (407 lbs). I can help you look better and get stronger.

What You Get

All my programs are modular, covering the all the bases of fitness: strength, endurance, flexibility, injury prevention, recovery & regeneration, and nutrition & supplementation. Your program will be designed from scratch, based on your specific needs and specific goals. Whether you want to look like a bodybuilder, lift like a powerlifter, run a marathon, or just feel better about yourself, I’ve got something for you.

At the most basic level, I offer basic program design. If you just want to get a program then go on your way, this is what you need. This is a flexible service; depending on what you need, I’ll design a program for a single week, a month, or even an entire yearly model if that’s what you want.

The next step up is a one-time consultation. This is exactly what it sounds like – we have a chat by email about your current situation, where you need to be, and then map out how you should go about getting there. There’s no on-going follow-up, and you only pay once. If you just want to pick my brain, this is your choice.

The final level is full Coaching, an on-going retainer where you subscribe to my services on a monthly basis – which gives you access to e-mail and IM troubleshooting (time zones permitting), regular assessment of your training and diet, and updates to your program when required.

I offer a choice between two coaching packages depending on your goals: Physique Transformation and Strength Development.

If you’re trying to get as lean as possible, for a contest or for a deadline, Physique Transformation will give you both the diet and exercise tools you need to get there.

If you’re having problems with your lifts and need guidance to improve your strength and performance, then the Strength Development package is targeted to you with specific strength, mobility, injury prevention, and recovery strategies.

Coaching starts at $349 per month. I only have limited spaces due to the amount of work involved, and given the nature of this service I must make sure you’re a compatible client before I’ll agree to work with you.

Regardless of the program you choose, you’ll have access to a private forum to log your training and ask questions. I also give you a follow-up assessment and progress review at the end of your program, so we can go over your results, what went wrong, what went right, and how you should proceed from there.

I charge $100 per hour for in-person, hands-on training. With three sessions per week, that’s $1200 per month. You’re getting access to my programming, knowledge, and experience for a small fraction of that price.

I am selective about the type of clients I take on, and I have limited slots so that I can ensure top quality service.

If we decide to work together, I’ll give you access to the private forum, instructions on what I need from you, and a brief FAQ & Guidebook covering the basics that you’ll need to know.

The main things I will require are a video hosting account, like YouTube, Vimeo, or Veoh, and access to a digital camera. I’ll ask you to record a sample of selected exercises as part of your initial assessment and on-going progress evaluations, which I need to monitor your form and determine any mobility issues you may have.
