I made an inquiry over on Lyle's forum in an old thread about people who purchased the Collegiate rack from EFS. Figured I'd ask here too in case anyone has experience with their racks.

If so, are you still happy with your purchase?

Also, I'm in the process of having Wendler give me a quote for a bunch of things I'm buying from EFS for a small studio I'm putting together.

My partner and I own a gym that we outfitted with Power-Lift equipment. I love their stuff, but it's a bit over budget for what I'm putting together now with this studio. Figured EFS was a good alternative.

The Power-Lift stuff was delivered and assembled for a reasonable fee.

I was surprised to hear that EFS does not assemble the stuff they deliver. That said, did you find assembly of your rack easy? I can't imagine it being complicated as there's only so many parts, but I'd still like to know your thoughts. Plus, I'm handicapped in the handy department.

I'm not actually getting the Collegiate Rack. I'm getting their 3x3.

Thanks for any info you can provide.
My experience w/ EFS racks is second-hand, in that our gym in Australia had one of them. I'm pretty sure it was the Collegiate, but the 3x3 is all but the same thing.

It was a quality rack, easily the best I've ever used. Assembly is cake, it's really just two metal frames joined with some cross-pieces. A wrench and maybe 10-20 minutes of time is all it should take. It really is as simple as bolting a few things together.
Thanks Matt. Glad to hear you thought so highly of the rack, too.
