Okay, I have officially moved myself over here from EP.
By the way, long live EP
in the forum heavens! Hope this place turns out to be just as motivating or even better...
So now the boring stuff of getting myself motivated for this New Year.I am bummed 'cause I was at a nice 124 lbs before Christmas but then skyrocketed to 132 and have not really gotten myself close enough to where I was.
My clothes do not feel so bad (not the same but not horrible either) which tells me I am just holding onto a bucket of water.
Oh well, not the end of the world but I do not feel like doing anything drastic either. Slow and steady.
Just want to get back into 124 area and then try something crazy like PSMF (from the book Lyle gave me last year).
Ever since I have had Yana and then injured my shoulder my body has come to look more like a woman's body then ever before. I have been less crazy about training and not as challenged in upper body workouts due to now almost 1.5 year old shoulder injury ( I sound like a broken record). My body composition has changed.
Shoulder in general is better than some months ago and I have employed the rehab stuff Matt recommended to me but in general I am still not 100% in that area.
I am planning on going to my DH orthopaedic dr who specializes in shoulders. I basically want another MRI (last one was in April 09) and to be directed to my DH's PT place (which has done a great job on his knee post ACL surgery). Last PT sucked and they did not care that I was still in pain. I am giving PT another chance (new place, new state) and if that does not make the shoulder better I will opt for ART (which is not covered by insurance).
2010 is all about getting my shoulder back 100% and being able to really push out a ton of push ups and pull ups. I have really come to like the non DB or machine conditioning... and of course changing my body comp a bit- leaner lower body and wider upper body.
